OptiScope
File Archiving Tool
OptiScope is a unique product for archiving and retrieving iSeries spool file data in the fastest and most cost-effective way. While Spool file data can of course be stored on the iSeries, OptiScope can also store the data on inexpensive PC equipment and easily access it, using index keys, directly from any iSeries terminal.
Archived data stored on a PC can even be removed from the iSeries disks, thereby saving even more disk space. OptiScope also enables setting user’s usage rights based upon the index keys.
