Import Definitions

Select 2. Import Definitions from the Authority On Demand System Maintenance menu. The Import AOD Definitions screen appears.

Click F9 to see all the parameters, enter the required fields as defined below and press Enter.

Parameter	Description
Input Type	SAVF LIB
Save File	Type the name of the Save File
Library	Type the name of the library that contains the Save File
AOD Options	UPD = add to a previously imported definition REPLACE = replace a previously imported definition *BYSUBJECT = import definitions by subject (provider and so on)
Keep backup in library	The name of the library where the pre-application version of the definitions will be stored.
Authority Providers	UPD = add new definitions to the target system REPLACE = replace existing definitions in the target system with the exported definitions CLEAR = clear the exported definitions from the target system SAME = do nothing with these definitions
Authority On Demand Rules	UPD = add new definitions to the target system REPLACE = replace existing definitions in the target system with the exported definitions CLEAR = clear the exported definitions from the target system SAME = do nothing with these definitions
Time groups	UPD = add new definitions to the target system REPLACE = replace existing definitions in the target system with the exported definitions CLEAR = clear the exported definitions from the target system SAME = do nothing with these definitions
Product operators	UPD = add new definitions to the target system REPLACE = replace existing definitions in the target system with the exported definitions *SAME = do nothing with these definitions
